Nice work!
I enjoyed the fall out from all of this, from Loretta being arrested at her party, to Philip discovering the truth and trying to make amends with Molly and Claire, to everyone else realizing the severity of the situation... it's exactly how I expected things to get wrapped up. But I wonder, are we done with Loretta? Everyone seems to be leaving town, but isn't someone going to stay put to make sure that crazy heffa stays in jail? Because I'd imagine she's far from done with the Fishers.
Maybe she'll try and use Phillip, because he still has a life back in King's Bay, if only temporarily. So he'll need to return there at some point. I'm also wondering how Spencer will deal with all of this, since I didn't notice him in any scenes other than the beginning of the party.
Looking forward to what's next!

Just popped back into Footprints land after a long absence so here are my thoughts....
I liked the twist of having philip and claire being half siblings. This opens up a new storyline avenue with claire trying to get to know her new half-brother. I have a feeling that it won't be smooth sailing but it gives Claire something more to do then the will they/won't they storyline circle she's been stuck in with Tim.
Loretta is a piece of work and interesting that she isn't more angry at her husband for having another wife/child out there. Excellent use of history tying together Tim's imprisonment, Claire killing her dad, and Nick all into one. Makes total sense but I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Loretta.

Michael,
Another quick read, but interesting. I'm curious to see if this is the end of Loretta, I mean the charges are not that serious against her. I still suspect something, anything, could happen and she could try to do more damage. It was a nice scene with Philip realizing that his mother is off the deep end and then going to Claire and trying to make amends. It was fitting that Brent told him to stay away from his family as he trusts no one, but Molly will bring him back into the fold. I loved how close Tim and Claire seemed! Reunited, maybe???
Looking forward to the next one,
d

Hey Michael!
Loretta- I don't think we have seen the last of her yet. The charges against her are pretty tame a misdemeanor at best I would think it would be great for her to stick around.
Phillip/Claire/Tim- I think were the best part of the episode for me. I love their sibling vibe, adding to Claire's family I think has long been over due and I really like this angle that you are taking. I also found myself enjoying Tim's interaction with Claire in this episode as well, like Dallas I am hoping for a reunion with these two.
Brett/Molly- It was great to see him in full protection and cop mode, as I think you write him very well in that mode. As for Molly, I am not a huge Molly fan but I do like her interactions with Phillip more so than with Brett.
Overall a great episode Michael!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
We certainly haven't seen the last of Loretta. This is the conclusion of a major phase of the story -- the mystery behind Clayton/Loretta, the reasons for her vendetta, etc. But there's plenty of fallout to play. In case you haven't noticed, we have a milestone episode coming up (#600!), so it stands to reason there might be something big going on there...
Kind of surprised by the positive reception to Tim and Claire's interaction! Hmm. Very interesting.
I know these last few have been fairly quick reads, but beginning next episode, we'll go back to featuring other storylines. I just felt so weird cramming other, somewhat mundane stuff in between all this high-stakes craziness. Things will level out with the next episode, and then I'm going to do a slight time-jump to catch up with real time, since it's been the same "long weekend" for approximately three months in the story.

I loved how things were wrapped up (?) in this episode. It's good that Loretta's vendetta and the reasons behind it are out in the open, and now we can watch the fallout happen. Claire and Philip's relationship (if they ever develop one), Tim's reaction to it, and of course any developing Brent/Molly/Philip complications that may arise. I agree with others that it would seem appropriate for Loretta to use Philip's connections in Kings Bay to further her vendetta, because like any good villain, they aren't gone till they're shot between the eyes or decapitated or something!
Looking forward to people getting settled back home and find out where these latest revelations will land them!

Thanks, Andy! Not exactly wrapped up, but... moved along. This revelation is really about clearing up questions from the past and shifting these people into new situations that they'll have to deal with. I'm really eager to get to exploring the relationship between the newfound siblings, the fallout for Brent/Molly/Philip, and the rest.
