Hey Michael,

I'm glad I popped in earlier, this was a nice read on my lunch break today. It was nice to see other storylines other than the Loretta vs. the Fishers storyline.

Lauren/Josh -- I wasn't overly surprised to learn that Josh didn't sleep with the married woman, but I love his line that she wants him to be a better person. So touching. I sense this will be a couple that will always be on again off again, so I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

Loretta -- So she's out on bail? Interesting. I sense SOMETHING will come from that. What I loved about the scenes with the Fishers is that it tied in a lot of other storylines; like Claire and Tempest and Ryan and Travis.

Nice read, looking forward to the next!

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Dallas. I know this was kind of a short, small episode.

I've been waiting to get to this moment for quite a while! It means a lot for Lauren that Josh can at least appreciate her viewpoint and take it into consideration, even if their decisions aren't always the same.

I really wanted to take the time to play the fallout of this with all the Fishers, because it is a big shock to learn about Loretta/James, but it also allowed me to get everyone in one place and slip back into a number of other storylines. The next episode features a leap ahead several weeks in time (since, er, it's been the same "long weekend" for like three months), and then we'll be firmly back into the other stories.

Thanks again!

It was a great step back into King's Bay Michael.

The Fisher Clan- Still remain to me one of the best families in the web series world hand down. I love their dynamic as a family and I loved how the Loretta stuff effected each one in their own way. That being said I am not a huge fan of Molly/Brent re-uniting, I seem to enjoy Molly more with Phillip despite what we now know about him. Claire/Tim I can totally get behind them re-uniting. Also Tempest didn't annoy me to no end this episode so great job!

Lauren/Josh- I adore these two and I have for a long time. I was thrilled that Josh didn't sleep with the client, he may be shady but he is not that shady. I loved how he didn't go through with it because of her, as well. I am interested in seeing what you do with them now that they have crossed that line again.

Great read Michael and I look forward to the next ones!

Nice follow-up to the Loretta business. I thought you effectively handled the parceling out of information. Stuff like this really has to happen in a group scene, since you don't have the luxury of doing daily episodes to get everything to every Fisher. But it does say a lot about the family that everyone gathers for an event like this. And Ryan was even invited.

Lauren and Josh were cute. Don't expect it to last, but that's the fun in it, I suppose!

Thanks for the posts, Kelly and Ira!

I'm very glad that you both enjoyed the Fisher family scenes. I was a bit concerned that this episode was kind of mellow, but I know that as a soap viewer, I tend to enjoy episodes where everyone comes together, mixes, and shares information. Plus, as I said above, it was a good way to ease back into some of the other ongoing stories.

Hiya Michael - I enjoyed how this episode touched on so many different plot points. Of course we got the requisite discussions about Loretta, but also things such as Brent's prosthetic, Brent and Molly's broken marriage, Tempest and Samantha's carjacking and Claire not being around for it, Claire's feelings toward her new siblings, Claire and Ryan's past, the Fisher's animosity about Ryan, Sarah's miscarriage, Travis's desire to get Danielle and Elly talking about, and of course Lauren and Josh. Whew! I know it's not easy to weave all of these threads into one episode but you did it very seamlessly. In some ways it felt like a nice refresher episode on things to come, which was very nice. I love episodes like this and I love writing them myself. Great job!

Thanks, Andy! This was really one of those necessary-but-not-super-exciting episodes, a chance for the readers and the characters to come together, make sense of what's happened recently, and then begin to move forward. Having everyone in the same place helped me touch on a lot of threads that will soon be picked up.
